Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, the Content Marketing Manager is responsible for helping to bring our product, corporate and customer stories to life. You are a natural born storyteller with proven experience delivering compelling and engaging written content. With a deep understanding of the marketing funnel, personas, and target markets, you will lead an integrated, high impact content strategy that delivers high engagement and conversion. You are a self-starter and your exceptional copywriting skills to articulate distinct and compelling messaging, develop unique positioning and establish thought leadership.

The team leverages industry knowledge and insights in order to apply the most impactful integrated marketing strategies and tactics that support the company?s mission and business objectives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and manage content strategy, calendar, delivery, processes and operations
Take ownership of, and report on, key metrics and KPIs to measure content performance
Ideate on topics and trends to enhance SEO strategies in alignment with business objectives
Create original content for website, landing pages, email campaigns, brochures, video scripts, public relations, and other digital content as needed
Write, edit, and proof all external facing content and internal messaging and training content to ensure brand consistency and adherence to tone and voice
Be a brand guardian and steward of best practices in messaging grammar, writing, and style to ensure brand adherence and consistency
Leverage product expertise to create meaningful long-form and short-form content that resonates with our target personas
Manage, audit, update, and optimize our library of existing content
Proactively develop standards, processes, and best practices for innovative content creation, distribution, and repurposing
Serve as a resource for all areas of the company regarding content marketing
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of content in marketing communications through rigorous quality control, proper execution, proofing, and fact checking
Provide mentorship for the content team and manage freelance writers
Work with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize and deliver marketing assets
Exceptional communication skills; the candidate must share original samples of authored pieces that demonstrate expertise in writing educational narratives
Strong marketing background and ability to set marketing strategy, messaging and campaigns
Solid project ownership, decision-making, relationship management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate technical specifications for complex compliance obligations across various audiences
Self-motivated, highly organized and efficient
Education and Experience:
3-5 years of content creation experience, 3 years minimum of B2B
Experience in payments or B2B financial technology content marketing with demonstrable results and achievements
Bachelor?s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
