EY Technology supports our technology needs through three business units:

Client Technology (CT) - focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY to identify new technology-based opportunities faster and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.

Enterprise Workplace Technology (EWT) – EWT supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.

Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.

The opportunity

IAM Identity Infrastructure Technology Lead - IDENTITY drives Run activities for the Identity and Access management – IDENTITY technology at new technologies being transitioned into production within the IAMS infrastructure meet Information Technology (IT) and Identity and Access Management (IAM) operational requirements, standards and quality controls and that they can be seamlessly deployed with no impact to production or critical service deliverables. The role drives the use of Industry or vendor recognized frameworks and tools to perform assigned directives aligned to the Identity technologies under management including but not limited to Sail point, FIM, GROUP ID and Azure AD Connect. The role is generally guided by the Global Lead for Identity Infrastructure in IAM & PKI Operations. The role drives the aligned team in initial production readiness and appropriate user testing activities including identification and resolution of noted errors or deficiencies prior to implementation or “go live” production. The role drives collaboration with peers within Implementation & Access Management Services (IAMS) including Directory Enablement and I&C. The role drives the “health” of any new or remediated initiative for IAM and in doing so reviews appropriate performance management information systems (MIS) metrics and analytics to monitor and assess project implementation success as well as for Business As Usual (BAU) operational support. In driving objectives and guiding the aligned technical implementation staff the role requires a high level of expertise and adherence to aligned industry frameworks and standards including Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework which details the IT industry’s mandated standards and procedures to determine improvement recommendations such as for IT operations and delivery.  

Your key responsibilities

Be responsible for all the technology related activities in Identity space.

Ability to advice on all kind of technical queries from Team and Leadership.

Take ownership of all activities including Major Incidents and drive towards resolution or completion.

Determinine project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.

Achieve goals through accurate task devision and appropriate delegation

Analyze existing operations & schedule trainings/meetings for improvements.

Update work schedules and perform troubleshooting as required.

Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.

Flexibility to work in any of the shifts preferably during America business hours

Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to build professional relationships with colleagues, leaders and stake holders inside IAMS Organisation

Collaborate with colleagues in other regions and countries.

Work with L2, L3 & L4 Teams to address issues within established Service Level Agreements for Identity technology

Escalate to Vendors and L4 as needed.

Ensure processes and procedures are followed.

Collaborate with IT Services operations, IT Solutions Delivery and IT Strategy teams to ensure technical project specifications meet IDENTITY functional requirements.

Work closely with Service Transition to ensure IDENTITY service documentation, knowledge materials, monitoring requirements and support structures are in place and updated as appropriate.

Work with Change Management team to ensure product changes are appropriately communicated, documented and approved.

Periodically review and update global process documentation and knowledge materials.

Generate service metrics to determine areas for product and support improvements.

Communicate updates regarding supported projects, initiatives, developments and status to GAP Team and Leadership

Represent on projects as a technology leader for Identity

Provide last signoff from technology standpoint before service take on for Infrastructure ops team

Responsible for collaboration with infra ops teams

Develops and maintains strong working relationships with other groups inside IAM to make certain that they are aligned to the operation process.        

Skills and attributes for success

Maintains interpersonal skills to engage with senior executives of the firm, in cross business discussions within a matrixed, geographically dispersed organization and to build a solid network of peers and others of influence. Adapts personal communication style to the style of others, develops rapport and stays calm under pressure or escalating issues using advanced oral and written English communication skills.

Projects advanced consultative skill to conduct effective questioning, home in on key directives to formulate ideas and materials as well as present those ideas clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization including senior and/or executive management.

Manifests a strong analytical and problem-solving ability to escalate and negotiate complex and conflicting issues in technologies and process reviews, handle multiple and shifting priorities across a broad spectrum of operating environments, and drive IAM Operation objectives that are both financially sound and operationally feasible.

Demonstrated capabilities to both strategically plan as well as direct the execution of project plans for engineered directives. Can both develop and drive the implementation of the aligned “roadmap” to guide execution.

Possesses a strong knowledge of collaboration tools designed for sharing knowledge and information such as Service Management Knowledge System, SharePoint and Yammer to guide the team in same.

Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the assigned businesses’ end-to-end processes and operating environment to support proper recognition of issues aligned to InfoSec, EWT and CT goals and strategy mandates and proactively position new designs and improvement opportunities. This includes but not limited to Sail point, FIM, GROUP ID and Azure AD Connect.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Education:

College degree technology based or statistical/math sciences or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree

Experience:

Approximately 8 to 10 years’ experience in a technology infrastructure specifically in identity and access management Identity technology with experience in driving quality management initiatives. Able to exhibit a progression of increasingly complex analytics and ability to successfully lead and deliver complex IT infrastructure. Extensive experience in IAM including to Sail point, FIM, GROUP ID and Azure AD Connect.

Certification Requirements:

Recommended certifications to progress career development may include:

•ITIL v2 or v3 Foundations

•MCSE / MCITP, SailPoint certification, AZURE certification

Ideally, you’ll also have
