Cisco Routed Optical Network Product Sales Specialist in Vimercate, Italy

What You’ll do As a Senior Product Sales Specialist, you’ll drive Cisco’s exciting HW and SW solutions for Converged IP/Optical architectures across EMEAR’s key Service Provider, Public Sector & Large Enterprise Customers and Account Teams; * You will be responsible for driving the business strategy across EMEAR working in lock-step with the Development organization and account teams to further increase sales in this fast-paced, high-growth technology area. * You will be hungry to grow market share in this $3bn applicable TAM local market, ensuring Cisco capitalize on recent investment in this space, including the Acacia acquisition for $4.5bn * You will have a highly customer facing role, presenting Cisco’s Converged SDN Transport Strategy and associated HW and SW portfolio, whilst representing Cisco at internal and external events. * You will build relationships with our Customer’s key decision-makers, positioning Cisco solutions and architectures aligned precisely to their requirements, and consult within successful end to end sales cycles in tandem with Account Teams. * You will provide a business angle to appropriately drive the technical/architecture strategy for Converged transport. * You will position the intrinsic links between 5G-transport and automation requirements, and the associated benefits of layer convergence. * You will lead the interlock process between the Field Sales team and the Development and Services organizations to define and prioritize key technical requirements and innovative solutions to meet current and future customer needs. You will provide one voice back into the Development Organizations for new feature development with consolidated business cases to help drive solutions for our customer’s requirements. * Ensure Cisco is positioned as a trusted advisor to the customer, and provide focus for the successful insertion of converged, next generation Transport. Who You’ll Work With It’s a truly 360 degree role, so you will collaborate with a wide range of departments including the Development and Customer Experience (CX) teams as well as Customers & their Cisco Account Teams. You will also work alongside Commercial Finance, Cisco Capital and Strategy & Planning. Who You Are * This is an ideal position for someone who has a proven track record in Service Provider business development and specifically IP+Optical/DWDM experience, where building and scaling high performance sales strategies in a fast-paced technology environment comes naturally. * Have the ability to recognize industry trends in their infancy, helping Cisco to fulfill on the market needs of today whilst creating markets through the innovative use of Cisco and related technologies. * Highly proactive. * Willing to travel. * Can foster and has fostered long-term, trusted relationships with SP customers * 5+ years related experience/Strong Sales Leadership experience. * Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent. * MBA or equivalent desirable. Desired skills * Deep Business and good Technical understanding of selling and deploying SP Networking solutions * Excellent written, oral communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills. * English is a pre-requisite, whilst additional languages are an advantage.
