Recruiting Manager

job summary:

Position Description

The Recruiting Manager will lead recruiting team, oversee the full lifecycle recruiting and managing the 5-10 recruiters.

Responsibilities

Managing the full-cycle recruitment process (sourcing, recruiting, screening, etc.) to meet staffing requirements.

Managing team of recruiters to ensure all priorities and goals are achieved.

Managing recruiting team goals (including days to fill, offer acceptance rate, etc.) as well as establishing and tracking individual recruiter goals to rapidly fill open positions with high qualified candidates.

Organizing the recruiting process artifacts, including position descriptions, position description templates, interview processes, interview feedback forms, status reporting.

Working closely with recruiting team, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to prioritize active openings and plan for upcoming needs.

Developing and improving creative approaches to source and recruit highly qualified candidates to ensure that positions are filled in a timely manner.

Collaborating with recruiting team, subcontractors, and agencies to implement recruiting to increase the quality and quantity of candidates for open positions.

Actively and consistently managing the use of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment tools to ensure timely and accurate documentation of applicant data throughout the process.

Tracking and reporting key recruitment metrics and providing updates and reports as required.

Providing daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management and hiring managers on status on open positions.

Interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching new recruiters.

Mentoring and guiding the recruiting team to ensure that resumes submitted to hiring manager meet requirements and company standards.

Providing training and coaching to team members as needed.

Working hand-in-hand with recruiters and hiring managers to identify and resolve bottlenecks for positions that are taking too long to fill.

Training our hiring managers on our recruiting process, position description creation, interviewing techniques, and talent assessment skills.

Maintaining relevant position descriptions templates for recurring types of positions, and assisting hiring managers in creating position descriptions for new types of positions.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

10 years of IT recruiting experience

5 years of recruiting or recruiting management experience in an Agency or Staffing firm

2 years of experience leading or managing a recruiting team of at least 5 people

Demonstrated experience in capturing recruiting metrics and creating reports to drive performance and communication with stakeholders

Experience with process improvement.

Experience streamlining and standardizing recruiting policies, procedures, practices, tools, and metrics.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize, coordinate, and balance multiple priorities (i.e. open positions, process changes, reporting, etc.)

Superb communication skills - must have the ability to communicate with C-level executives and hiring managers

Creative problem solver and team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast paced and dynamic environment

Proven ability to multi-task at a high level on a daily basis

Proven ability to motivate the recruiters continuously to meet their individual and team goals

Strong relationship management skills and excellent customer service skills
