Essential Functions * Lead all business development activities for SourceAmerica related to the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) * Identify contract opportunities on a daily basis that are appropriate for pursuit by SourceAmerica through the Federal Supply Schedule * Lead proposal development and pricing efforts in a collaborative manner and develops win strategies and competitive discriminators for targeted opportunities * Support and ensure compliance with all Federal Supply Schedule requirements and work closely with SourceAmerica Contract Management and Operations teams to understand all compliance requirements for the applicable Federal Supply Schedules * Conduct regular analyses of current schedules and potential schedules to determine whether SourceAmerica’s schedules require additions or updates based on changing capabilities * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the capabilities and capacity of SourceAmerica’s network of nonprofit agencies as it relates specifically to SourceAmerica’s FSS efforts * All of our employees participate in the following: * Actively participate in SourceAmerica’s Everyday Performance Management program * Cooperate fully with meeting the requirements of the Cooperative Agreement of the AbilityOne Commission * Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned Required Education, Experience, and Skills * Associates degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution. SourceAmerica recognizes 1.5 years of experience = 1 year of college, should the candidate not meet the required education * 5 years of relevant work experience * 5+ years of experience working directly on capture efforts related to the Federal Supply Schedule Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills * Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution * 7 years of relevant work experience * 7+ years of experience working in capture efforts with Federal government accounts * A proven track record in building sales through the Federal Supply Schedule and generating new revenue by identifying, qualifying, and capturing new contracts through the FSS * Experience working in a dynamic sales environment and coordinating multiple capture activities at once * Ability to effectively communicate multi-step and interdependent activities to the team and ensure efficient execution of FSS capture efforts on multiple pursuits * Ability to effective interface with internal departments and with external customers, including both the Federal government customer and SourceAmerica’s affiliated network of nonprofit agency partners OTHER REQUIREMENTS * Ability to effectively collaborate with individuals and teams across a 400+ organization with a national footprint * Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships * Strong oral and written communication skills, including grammar and proofreading skills * Strong organizational skills * Capable of working independently and solving problems under time pressure * Flexible schedule and some travel required during certain time periods * Commitment to fulfilling SourceAmerica’s mission, vision, and values * Exhibit SourceAmerica’s STAR behaviors * Willingness to follow SourceAmerica’s Code of Conduct * *Benefits SourceAmerica offers a comprehensive, flexible, and market-competitive benefits program including: paid holidays, vacation time, sick leave, health insurance, and retirement benefits.
