Job Title: Project Manager
Base Location: Vancouver Washington
Greenberry Industrial searching for a experienced shop project -Project Manager.
General Position Description and Daily Tasks:
Must have excellent communication skills, develop trust easily with others, have strong organizational and follow through skills.
Project Manager is to help plan new contracted projects.
Project Manager is to Organize the project team.
Project Manager is to direct and control the project team.
Work and support the team to achieve revenue, profit and backlog goals
Support and promote Quality and Safety initiatives throughout the project; ensure every employee goes home safely every day and comply with all required quality procedures
Organize and direct the daily efforts and activities of the project team; establish appropriate priorities
Prepare and submit project budgets
Plan and prepare project schedules
Reviews and understands contracts
Manage customer relationships
Work with Superintendents and General Foremen
Purchase materials and equipment needed to complete the project
Review and submit change orders to client contracts
Review and approve subcontract change orders
Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and staff
Close out projects in a comprehensive and efficient manner
Report to work, on time and prepared to perform all tasks as outlined in job description and / or assigned
High-energy, self-motivated, driven, strong work ethic and accountable
Outstanding at guiding teams and executing projects
Creative problem solver
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to professionally represent the company in face to face meetings with clients and have phone skills
Fearless and motivated, with the ability to foster new client relationships and business opportunities
Physical Demands and Work Conditions
Must possess good manual dexterity; must be able to sit, stand, kneel, and squat; must be able to lift at least 50 pounds; must be able to hear, speak and see within normal ranges (use of corrective devices is allowed)
5 years or more heavy Fabrication, commercial and or industrial construction experience.
Must have direct industry knowledge and know how to speak the language
Must have strong understanding of millwright, pipe fitting, steel fabrication, and welding technology and coded Vessel Fabrication.
Prefer Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Construction Engineering.
Must be capable of running a small five person team to a 25 + person team
Must be able to read, understand and follow blueprints and drawings
Must be computer literate with excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills, P6 is a plus !
Must have excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, managerial, mathematical and analytical skills
Must be able to read, write and be able to follow written and verbal instructions
