The markets for operational and analytical data are continuing to converge with expected growth of 86% to €56B in license and subscription over the next four years. By far, the biggest driver is Cloud: for both database and analytics, Cloud subscriptions will triple compared to 2019, adding up to €33B in 2022. The goal of the SAP HANA & Analytics unit is to grow faster than the market and take a strong leadership position.

SAP HANA & Analytics also is the data and analytics platform that drives the Intelligent Enterprise.
Business Intelligence is a key component of this strategy and the expectations for business intelligence analysis tools are rapidly changing. Customers want a digital workforce where data-driven decision making is expected. To achieve this, information must be delivered to all users wherever they are, automating as much as possible, reducing the barriers to access and elevating BI users from the menial analysis tasks to the creative and complex. In this landscape SAP Analytics Cloud has emerged strongly. Analysts believe SAP has the right vision with a singular analytics platform, augmented experience, enterprise readiness, business content and the Intelligent Enterprise.
Our team is responsible for outbound and inbound strategic solution management for Augmented BI as part of the broader SAP Analytics portfolio. As the Solution Manager License & Pricing, you are driving and define the licensing and pricing strategy for Augmented BI. This includes driving the go-to-market strategy to generate high customer demand and revenue growth.
Expectation and Tasks
Co-Drive SAP’s product strategy for Augmented BI
Articulates the value of our Augmented BI solutions both inbound and outbound
Orchestrate license and pricing Go-To-Market for the Augmented BI portfolio
Co-Drive revenue and market share growth
Researches and monitors market trends and external influences that effect SAP's solution offering. Especially in relation to licensing and pricing strategy
Develop license & pricing solution strategies, road maps and accompanying assets together with the SAP Development & Product Management organization
Managing additions, changes and deletions of Analytics pricing including coordination with global pricing, portfolio, launch, legal, floor price controlling, revenue recognition, provisioning, auditing and GTM teams
Maintenance of internal pricing roll-out, training of GTM personnel
Yearly review and update of cloud floor prices, including analysis of areas for improvement
Support to Field pricing for deals including calculation of deal-specific floor prices
Support of strategic initiatives – such as migration of customers from NEO to AWS and Inconsistent Tenant Cleanup
Build up and maintain strong internal network with Analytics stakeholders in Sales, Product management & Development and Product Marketing
Develops effective working relationships and trusted advisor status with key customers and partners
Enables SAP field organization on licensing & pricing strategy
Provide license & pricing asset content, and drive positioning together with regional teams and solution marketing
Strong solution management skills with the ability of multi-tasking as the standard mode of operation
Proven virtual team leadership skills in a matrix organization
Very strong communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in customer interaction
Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics is a strong pre
Minimum 3 years’ experience related to Analytics or HANA solutions in finance, (pre-)sales, solution management, product marketing or consulting
Experience working with development, product management and solution management teams to understand upcoming product enhancements that require commercial changes
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in SAP, preferably in SAP Analytics
Good insight and network into various SAP organizations
Professional background in finance or analytics
