Kitchen Workers are also eligible for holiday/vacation pay.span class="caps"POSITION/spanspan class="caps"ACCOUNTABILITIES/spanspan class="caps"AND/spanspan class="caps"ESSENTIAL/spanspan class="caps"FUNCTIONS/span:To ensure customer satisfaction via trained employees, well-managed inventory, quality food and service, and a clean and sanitized area.span class="caps"PERFORMANCE/spanspan class="caps"RESPONSIBILITIES/span:ulliOversees the work being performed by a student employee, or KW I and KW II/liliMaintains a high standard of quality in food production, food storage, sanitation and safety practices/liliTrains new employees using the training guidelines/liliResponsible for locking and unlocking areas of the department/liliResponsible for the ordering and receiving of food for assigned area/liliStrives to meet or exceed monthly food and beverage goals set by the Director of Business Services and the Food Services Manager/liliWears appropriate apparel while working/liliUses and follows standardized recipes in preparation of all foods/liliServes all food according to instructions and standard procedures/liliCleans any area of kitchen according to sanitary regulations/liliMaintains a clean work environment/liliProvides excellent customer service according to the departmental guidelines/liliStores all food properly/liliFollows all safety instructions when using equipment/liliCooperates with other employees and customers/liliMay be responsible for oversight of the weekend and night staff/liliPerforms other related duties assigned by the manager/li/ulspan class="caps"PHYSICAL/spanspan class="caps"DEMANDS/span:ulliExerts moderate physical effort, including lifting and carrying food items and objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds with the assistance of a co-worker/liliStands and walks on hard flooring for periods of time/liliWorks around a wide range of temperatures/liliWorks with chemical cleaning agents/li/ul
