Job Summary

Manage Customer service projects and field service activities. Manage overall process of customer complaints in addition to managing individual complex customer complaint cases. Manage and coordinate Field Service Technicians. Plan, develop and maintain Customer Service Department Operating Procedures and records, c orrective a ctions and NCMR for issues with pumps and processes , utilizes Measurabl e Charts and Graphs to show Company-wide progress on Improvements for Quality . Interface with Upper Management on high profile warranties to provide closure, direction, and customer satisfaction . Coordinate warranty field service for timely site repairs

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for leading analysis of warranty claims for customers.

  • Tracks/Monitors claims process and quickly resolves any open issues with customers, distributors or internal parties.

  • Reviews warranty documentation to validate warranty claims

  • Determine warranty repair eligibility in accordance with guidelines

  • Communicate with customers on warranty claim issues.

  • Escalates unresolved issues to Senior Mgmt. and or Quality Manager

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor Degree in Industrial Technology, Mechanical, Civil or Manufacturing Engineering.

  • 4 years of Pump operations vertical and Horizontal.

  • 4 years Manufacturing Principles related to pump manufacturing and repair.

  • 4 years Factory processes, parts manufacture, and pump assembly.

  • 4 years Repair procedures for horizontal & vertical pumps.

  • 4 years pump installation and troubleshooting.

Knowledge

Understanding of rotating equipment including the proper installation and operations. Shop knowledge of parts and tolerances associated with pump failed parts preferred. Understands quality blueprints, tolerances, and geometric nomenclature. Process implementation and improvement. Able to provide custom repair and overhaul procedures to restore product performance to required levels. Experience with trouble shooting and repairing rotating equipment preferred. Experience with vibration analysis and related trouble shooting desired.

    Physical Requirements
