Assisting with admissions, and completing necessary records for transfers and discharges. Keeping nursing service associates informed of residents’ appointments as well as assisting in the arranging for transportation for residents. Sending necessary medical information with resident to scheduled appointment. Maintaining up-to-date roster of residents and assisting with the accuracy of the census. Maintaining a current listing of emergency telephone numbers. Delivering mail, newspapers, flowers, etc., as necessary as well as greeting visitors, families and residents and directing to resident rooms, office areas, etc., as necessary. Assisting in maintaining and completing Medical Records and filling out lab requisitions. Assisting with recording vital signs and weights. Ultimately, ensure the smooth running of the Health Unit. In addition to a Caregiver Certification, we need you to be proficient with the MS Office suite! The Lead Caregiver is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the overall care, organization, cleanliness and resident engagement in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Our Lead CareGIver will possess leadership characteristics while supervising caregivers and providing hands-on care, activities and tasks to our residents. Reviews and implements policies, standards, services and procedures. Takes part in implementing resident service plans to ensure directives are followed pursuant to State Standards. Participates in staff and administrative meeting and in-service training. Maintains medical records, logs and prescription medication records in accordance to Watermark’s policy and state standards. Participate in staff training, retention and learning records. Reports unusual incidents, concerns and all resident incidents within requite time-frames.
