JOB SUMMARY

Represent one of the leaders in the leisure travel industry and provide travel services to more than 49 million members throughout North America by assisting members with their dream cruise vacation package! Work with the members to the build a cruise vacation beyond their wildest expectations!

The Cruise Reservations Agent works in a fast paced environment answering incoming calls identifying the members needs and match the clients products to their cruise/vacation plans.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Friendly and efficient handling of Members calls

  • Maintains and updates customer information as necessary

  • Use airline and in-house computer systems to make member vacation/cruise reservations

  • Accurate confirmation of reservations

  • Escalates calls to supervisor when necessary and appropriate

  • Responds to requests for assistance and/or possible processing of credit card authorizations

  • Tracks call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes

  • Provides feedback reports on call issues related to downtime and/or training issues

  • Upsells to customers as necessary

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS*

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred

  • Customer service experience a plus

  • Phone-related customer service a /major/ plus

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel applications

  • Successful and enthusiastic sales experience

  • Great communication, listening and facilitation skills

  • Detail oriented approach to work

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing work environment

  • Travel industry experienced preferred but not required

  • Bilingual language skills a plus

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*

  • Stellar customer service skills – and an overwhelming desire to make lives better, one interaction at a time
