Job Summary

We are seeking a Handy Person/Driver for our Safety Assessment site located in Tranent.

The following are responsibilities related to the Handy Person/Driver:• Routine maintenance of site buildings fabric, including minor joinery and plumbing work.• Competent use of a variety of hand tools, both manual and electric• General maintenance of the site including painting, drain clearing and roof leak repairs.• Driving company vehicles• Site tidying, clearing and gritting of roadways and paths, clearing litter and emptying of site waste bins. The following are minimum qualifications related to the Handy Person/Driver position:• You must have a clean driving license and should ideally have some previous relevant experience of working in a similar environment, especially including fork lift truck operation

Salary for this position is £17,030. Successful candidates will be appointed to the bottom of the pay band if they have no relevant experience.In exceptional circumstances where the candidate has relevant equivalent experience, this will be taken into consideration.
