Private Wealth Team
Brookfield has an established a dedicated full service Private Wealth team focusing exclusively on the unique requirements of the private wealth channel. The team includes members from product development, marketing, sales, legal and investor servicing and works closely with teams across the organization. We are seeking a Manager to join Private Wealth Investor Relations.
Position Summary
The Manager, Investor Relations, Private Wealth, will be responsible for supporting the Private Wealth Investor Relations Team to successfully execute client service initiatives. The Manager must become a specialist in both the firm?s organizational structure as well as its products and strategies. The Manager will be responsible for interacting with private wealth clients and coordinating and collaborating with multiple teams and departments, interacting with all levels of the organization. The successful candidate must be resourceful, organized, proactive, detail-oriented, have a strong ability to problem solve / multi-task and be a team player. The role will report to the Senior Vice President.
Responsibilities
Assist in the execution of key investor relations and client service initiatives
Coordinate across multiple groups within the firm to ensure consistent, proactive, timely, professional and accurate investor interactions
Assist in implementing standardized client service protocols across the firm to provide a high quality, consistent investor experience
Communicate with external and internal stakeholders in a knowledgeable, clear and professional fashion
Own the coordination and preparation of investor reports, presentations and communications
Qualifications & Requirements
5-7 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: investor relations, client service, equity research, investment banking
Experience working with private funds and deep knowledge of the alternative asset management industry required; knowledge of real estate, infrastructure and/or private equity preferred
Team player who demonstrates a commitment to shared success above any personal accomplishment or recognition
Highly motivated, proactive self-starter with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively in a fast paced, global environment
Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle pressure effectively to successfully manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously while maintaining the highest standards of work product and adhering to stringent deadlines
Detail-oriented
Exceptional work ethic and intellectual curiosity
Positive, can-do attitude, exhibiting humility, professionalism and patience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint
Experience with Salesforce, FISDX (Sungard) preferred
Analytic and strategic thinker with the ability to assess complex situations, make effective recommendations and oversee projects through completion
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a clear ability to effectively coordinate with a wide variety of professionals at all levels and departments within and outside of the organization
Undergraduate degree with an excellent academic background; additional credentials including MBA, CPA, CAIA or CFA preferred
