U.S. Army Joint Munitions Command Supervisory Project Manager in Tooele Army Depot, Utah

Summary About the Position: This position is located within the TOOELE ARMY DEPOT DIR, AMMUNITION EQUIP (APE) DIR OF MFG - APE M2130, however multiple vacancies may be filled using this announcement. This position serves as a Supervisory Project Manager, responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of ammunition maintenance, renovation, and demilitarization projects in the Directorate portfolio. Responsibilities oversees and provides expertise and knowledge of projects that involve industrial processes such as, machining, painting, assembling/disassembling and logistical planning. implements corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development of projects. Leads necessary Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) with impacted parties and stakeholders. Directs development of project plans and schedule in project management software and integrates all projects in the directorate to develop integrated schedules for all divisions and functional areas. Executes all projects using the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) As division chief, exercises full range of personnel management authority and responsibility over subordinates. Maintains current knowledge of directorate products, services, operations, planning, and production methods in order to confirm and plan to meet customer requirements in product quality, schedule and cost. Specialized Experience: one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal Service which includes: assisting with the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of ammunition maintenance, renovation, and demilitarization projects; in depth knowledge of ammunition, facilities, equipment, environmental regulations, workforce, packaging, preservation, and other operations on conventional munitions; and integrating directorate functions (i.e., planning, design, project budget, etc.), customer needs, and other agencies' commitments in support of assigned project into a comprehensive management plan. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementManaging Human ResourcesProject Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). If you are a current, Federal employee, you must include your pay plan, series, and grade in your work experience(s) on your resume submission and/or upload supporting documentation (within-grade increase SF50) to show that you meet the time-in-grade requirement. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. Two year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
