Responsible for the monthly closing execution for the Manufacturing Operation; including cost entries, reviews and reports to the Plant Operations Manager and the PMU Integrator. Supports P&A/Product Supply Managers in the preparation and submission of the Annual Operating Plan and Revised Forecasts Mexico. Provides cost analysis and support to P&A, Marketing and Sales Department for all the commercial initiatives of Mexico.
Responsible for the cost accounting close. This includes but it is not limited to:
Preparation of month end close (In-transit, IPI elimination, market movement analysis and slow-moving spare parts inventories) and timely execution of account reconciliations.
Monthly communication of actual figures to Product Supply areas – manufacturing, logistics and PS Admin - through reports that facilitate the analysis versus the last forecast update to bring costs perspective of each period enhancing business decision making and minimizing cost impacts while maintaining cost per case ratios.
Calculation of annual standard cost, lead the Re-roll process to maintain SAP information updated and its respective SKU BOMs during the fiscal year following Clorox guidelines and policies.
Guarantee data is consistent and usable for other areas to facilitate business decision making. Participate in all evaluations of commercial initiatives from the cost perspective (local manufacture and local imports) and also in the assessment of CAPEX project requirements.
Ensure that all locations that hold Clorox inventory are following the company inventory management guidelines. This includes but it is not limited to: leading the inventory wall to wall and cycle count processes as well as ensuring proper recording of inventory adjustments and documentation of findings.
Key member of the design, validation and delivery of Cost cut enhance margin projects; including monthly recording, tracking and presentations in Business Review meetings Foster an environment of strong internal controls and full support of the inventory Self-Assessment and Audit processes.
Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting or equivalent
Three years of experience in a manufacturing environment in cost accounting and one year of experience managing inventories.
Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Desirable massive consumption companies experience
Experience using SAP SAP
Good interpersonal & communication skills
Able to work under pressure
Good planning and organizational skills
Able to work in a flexible environment
Self-starter and leadership
Able to travel among skills and suppliers
Bachelor’s Degree, College Diploma, or Equivalent: Business Administration/Management
