Pall Corporation is seeking a Facility Engineer in Timonium, Maryland. The Facility Engineer is a “hands-on” engineering position that supports the Facilities Maintenance Group. This includes providing high level support for facilities and manufacturing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting; supporting equipment design, fabrication and installation projects; and supporting/leading continuous improvement projects. The Facilities Engineer will lead contractors as needed and will work with and/or run systems including but not limited to Environmental Monitoring, Spare Parts, Calibration, OEE monitoring, AMMS and Building Management System.
Has a “hands-on” understanding of the design and operating principles of PLC and/or similar control systems.
Have a “hands-on” understanding of the operating principles of HVAC systems, Pumps, Motors, Boilers, Purified Water systems, Air Compressors, Electrical Distribution systems.
Understands and uses the Building Management System (BMS) system(s) to monitor equipment/system performance and troubleshoot issues.
Proficiency interpret and draw Electrical and Mechanicals CAD Prints.
Can solve (diagnose problems) on all types of equipment and control systems.
Performs programming and troubleshooting on PLC and/or similar control systems.
Reviews, identifies and implements improvements in PM procedures and the PM program.
Supports or leads technical projects, including equipment design, fabrication and/or installation projects, and continuous improvement projects.
Leads contractors where necessary for project work and service/repair calls.
Works with and/or leads systems including but not limited to Environmental Monitoring, Spare Parts, Calibration, OEE data monitoring, TPM data monitoring.
Independently establish and maintain equipment files, change control records and other records, as well as preparing reports.
Other facilities engineering assignments as needed.
