Aerotek Quality Assurance Technician in Thousand Oaks, California


A growing medical device company in Thousand Oaks has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Technician. This is a six month contract to hire position that offers competitive benefits once assignment has been completed.

Essential Functions:

  • Document part numbers, lot numbers, quantities, inspection dates, results, in log entry format to ensure accurate product history records for each product inspection task performed.

  • Inspect product within the estimated time requirements.

  • Calculate and set controls for inspection equipment to regulate proper inspection of product.

  • Document and report all nonconforming product(s) to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.

  • Participate in the CAPA process as a task owner or Subject Matter Expert, as necessary.

  • Perform general quality inspection tasks.


QA, Blueprints, GMP, First article, Final inspection, Calibration

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required; some college or technical training preferred.

• A minimum of two (2) years quality assurance mechanical inspection experience required.
