Position Summary and Responsibilities
Position Summary
Provide engineering and plant maintenance support to the lead facility engineers at the Thousand Oaks and Camarillo sites
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Support various facility projects and in-house technical customer projects from start to finish, such as equipment replacement, lab modifications, utilities and various building systems
Develop scope of work and cost estimates for tool installations or lab modifications
Supports both R&D and production manufacturing within cleanroom environments as issues arise or in support of new tool installations
Availability to respond and remediate facility failures on a 24/7 basis
Provides support and direction to preventative and predictive maintenance program for utilities and building systems equipment in support of manufacturing
Provide support to Environment, Health & Safety personnel as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise maintenance, service and construction contractors as required
Qualifications
Qualifications & Competencies
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:
Working knowledge of utilities, building systems, process gases and gas cylinder methodology
Experience working with engineering drawings and ability to develop Gantt timeline charts for various projects
Experience with tool installations
Cleanroom and semiconductor experience is a plus
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100D Quality Management Systems
Ability to multitask and run several projects simultaneously, with ability to organize and prioritize assignments
Proficiency using AutoCad and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project)
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field with at least 5-10 years of experience in facilities project management with a heavy exposure to facilities project management and various building systems
Citizenship Requirements
Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.
Other Qualifications:
- Ability to travel between site locations in Thousand Oaks and Camarillo, California
