Principal Software Engineer – IT SRE

What You’ll achieve:
As a Principal Software Engineer – IT SRE , you will be responsible for Incident and problem management of products in As a Service Enablement space. You will work with Product teams on application integration, system administration, preventive maintenance, performance tuning and monitoring support
You will –
Provide top-level support ownership of the Oracle BRM implementation for Subscription, Usage and Billing
Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
Improve reliability, quality, and availability monitoring of the assigned apps
Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve
Partner with product development teams to balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service level objectives, establish SLO’s/ SLI’s

Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline
Oracle BRM experience with product customizations and integrations in E2E system architecture
Good knowledge of programming languages; operating systems; firmware; BIOS; device drivers; databases; system, network, operating system, and application administration; embedded software/firmware; tools and utilities, as applicable
Ability to program (structured and OO) with one or more high level languages, such as Python, C#, .Net Core, Java and Javascript
Hands on in deployment, maintenance of Micro services solutions on Cloud infrastructure with messaging technologies like RabbitMQ, Kafka and XML, JSON formats
Desirable Requirements
Previous success in technical engineering, site reliability
Good to have prior working experience/ understanding of Kubernetes, PKS, GCP, AWS, Azure
