Job Description Summary
Responsible for the detailed architecture, design, development, modification, testing, adaption, and/or implementation of short- and long-term software solutions to business and technology initiatives that are of highest complexity levels with multiple new integrations. Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions. Works independently in a fast paced environment.
Essential Job Functions
Advises and Leads software architecture services typically in a defined highly complex project(s) by coordinating with Enterprise Architecture.
Provides working prototypes to confirm the feasibility of technical solutions
Reviews and develops improvements to system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions.
Ensures that defined architecture is successfully implemented
Establishes improvements to increase efficiency
Develops and governs software policies, standards and procedures
Revises and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and Technology strategy
Reviews and advises IT standards and procedures.
Other Job Duties
Manages development team for their delivery as needed
Mentors Software engineers and associate engineers
Develops and drive technology roadmap for the program
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requires highest knowledge and mastery of multiple job areas typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Viewed as the leading expert and/or resource within the field by peers within and outside the organization.
Requires 12 years minimum prior relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree
Full Stacking Engineering
Performs highly complex development using Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
Develops and maintains complex full stack applications
Understands and uses CI/CD processes, DevOps practices, and full-stack methods and has the ability to test, debug, and code
Uses web development and cloud computing skills to implement web pages, RESTful APIs, and micro services
May have direct report management of the rest of the DevOps team
Possesses deep experience with both i. Intermediate experience in all functional areas (9 ) ii. Intermediate experience [direct] leading Agile teams
Drives delivery and tests using Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban or other SDLC methodologies
Coordinates with other teams groups to determine cross- group technical and functional needs
Designs and leads the development of automated testing capabilities across multiple domains and applications
Will create test utilities and tool connectors in support of creating/maintaining automation frameworks
Create automation test strategies across multiple technologies (java, .NET, EDW,SOA (API))
Develop and execute automated tests of the highest complexity and difficulty
Create performance, load, and application security testing strategies
Conduct Automation Brown Bag Sessions, training, marketing and socialization across the bank
Leads and conducts POCs, installation, configuration, and maintenance of shared Testing tools and frameworks
Experience with and strong understanding of CI/CD processes, DevOps practices and full-stack methods and has the ability to test, debug, and code
Strong technical competency in two or more Object Oriented Programing languages
Works on multiple assignments concurrently
Research applicability of new testing tools and methods
Create metrics for use in enterprise level management reporting
Train, coach, and develop new team members
