div divbspanGeneral Summary:/span/bspan/spanspanIn collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, provides therapeutic services including evaluation, treatment, and education. Monitors the treatment activities of COTA's and aides./spanspan/spanbspanEssential Duties:/span/bspanspan /spanspan /span/spanspan/spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanCompletes evaluations of assigned patients in accordance with the established standards of care and practice./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanPlans and provides treatment to assigned patients as appropriate in accordance with established standards of care and practice./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanCompletes all documentation of services per department standards./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanAttends all required safety training programs and can describe his or her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job-related hazards./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanFollows the hospital exposure control plans/bloodborne and airborne pathogens./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanDemonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanPromotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team inter- and intra-departmentally to facilitate the department's/unit's ability to meet its goals and objectives./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanMaintains updated license and submits evidence of status to supervisor/manager within two weeks of receipt of new or updated license./spanbspanStandard Qualifications:/span/bspan/spanspanTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.span /spanThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.span /spanReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties./spanspan/spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanEducation / Training:/spanspan span/spanspanGraduate from an accredited OT school./span/spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanWork Experience: Successful completion of clinical internship. Previous clinical experience/rehabilitation experience preferred./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanCertification, Licensure, Registration: Current State OT license. BLS certification./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanOther Qualifications: /spanspanHandles multiple priorities. Independent discretion/decision making. Makes decisions under pressure.
