The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to Beaumont policies and procedures. /span bspan times="" roman="" new=""Unit Summary:/span/bspan times="" roman="" new=""span arial=""2 West is comprised of a 23 bed Med/Surg Unit and a 23 bed Post- Surgical Unit.span /spanWe have a very friendly staff who are welcoming and willing to mentor new RNs.span /spanWe handle medium to high acuity patients with a 5 to 6 patient ratio. Develops teaching strategies for patient/family; documents education and learning appropriately in health record. /span/lili verdana=""span times="" roman="" new=""Demonstrates leadership in the professional practice setting and is responsible for continuing personal education, mentoring peers and educating patients and families./span/lili verdana=""span times="" roman="" new=""Stays up to date with current health system initiatives and incorporates evidence based practice and research into practice.
