into Suez WTS’ Director – Procurement, Global Projects, The Sr. Manager,

Procurement – Global Projects will work very closely with the Suez WTS’ Procurement

Leadership team for aligning priorities and programs outcomes with the vision

and objectives of the enterprise. This role will be leading important Procurement

Programs and initiatives within the Global Procurement Function, in

coordination with the internal and external stakeholders of the organization.


  • Key Initiatives: Coordinate and drive EBIT, Cash & Competitiveness impacting Procurement programs like Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), High Cost to Low Cost Spend migration, Should Costing, Make vs. Buy methodology, Single/ Sole Source Elimination, Financial Risk Mitigation & Sustainability Programs, etc.

  • Influence & Change Management: Exercise horizontal leadership and collaborate and work with high rank company officers, procurement peers, suppliers and other partners to drive right focus on necessary change management and transformation.

  • Facilitative Leadership: Focal point of contact for SPOT programs being executed within SUEZ WTS. Responsible for deploying advance program management tools and techniques to track program milestone progress and create appropriate operating rhythm with the stakeholders.

SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions is

seeking a thoughtful, dedicated professional with the right skillsets, mindset,

andbehavior to contribute to the continued evolution of our Global

Procurement function. The Global Director

– Procurement Programs acts as the leader to boost up focus and energy around execution

and delivery of few important Programs/ Initiatives which are critical to the success

of the enterprise.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or similar field, candidate with a Master’s degree and / or certification like CPM/CPSM, PMP, etc. will have added advantage.

  • Ten (10) years of working experience in Strategic Procurement, Change Management, Transformation, Cross Functional Projects along with solid background in data analytics and presentation skills.

Useful skills or abilities (notrequired for consideration):

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, capable of developing presentations and comfortable interacting with internal/external stakeholders and WTS senior management

  • Demonstrate exceptionally good leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and influence a large cross-functional group to a flawless execution. An ability to influence business leadership and executives

  • Demonstrated success of managing multiple initiatives

  • Creative, organized and self-motivated for success

  • Demonstrated comfort with contemporary technologies, tech-savvy

  • Proven success with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

  • Experience in working in different cultures and environments, in a matrixed organization

  • Procurement Knowledge: Knowledge of Procurement methods, technologies and processes.

  • General understanding of Direct/Indirect material categories and water treatment technologies
