About You

Position Snapshot

Project Managers at US Ecology are responsible for completing the project in the estimated timeframe and within the budget in a safe, efficient and professional manner while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety. The Project Manager is also responsible for client interaction, and requires the individual to communicate, market, and price business opportunities as requested. This position is in our Industrial Services division which provides industrial cleaning and maintenance (http://https://www.usecology.com/services/industrial-services/industrial-cleaning-maintenance) and emergency response (http://https://www.usecology.com/services/field-services/emergency-response) services.

Day in the Life

After grabbing your favorite morning beverage, you can expect to:

  • Directly manage projects assigned to you including all coordination of work crews, scheduling work with clients, execution of health and safety plans, and project profit margin.

  • Establish and maintain productive relationship with customers and their onsite representative.

  • Communicate and coordinate all project information and strategy with Director of Remediation.

  • Coordinate the performance of work in accordance with specifications and contract documents.

  • Source, price and purchase all required materials, subcontractors, supplies, components and other required expense items for project.

  • Accurately track all projects’ costs and expenses, compile profit/loss reports for project financial review

  • Be on call for periodic 24-hour emergency response

What you need to apply

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or similar field

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management

  • Industrial Services and/or Haz Waste industry experience a plus

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks, drug screening
