Citigroup CSS Strategy & Reengineering Sr. Program Manager - SVP in Tampa, Florida
The CSS Strategy & Reengineering Sr. Program Manager requires a strong combination of analytical, technical, and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead teams to success. This is a critical role within CSS, helping to shape the Innovation and Digitalization strategy by partnering across process areas and other Citi business groups. This role will program manage all aspects of reengineering and Innovation programs, from strategy to driving implementation of key programs. This person must have experience in strategic program management, outstanding collaboration skills and demonstrated expertise in implementing transformation level programs. This individual will work closely with the CSS leadership, Strategy and Reengineering leads and other Partners to effectively drive successful completion of the CSS Digital Book of Work and other core programs.
CSS includes 4 major Products that support Global Functions within Citi, including Financial and Risk Shared Services (FRSS), Human Resources Support Services (HRSS), Business & Travel Shared Services (BTSS) and Citi Solution Centers (CSC).
Key responsibilities:
Work with CSS thought leaders to develop road maps, transformation frameworks and priorities
Ability to use data driven insights and external research to inform decision-making, assess opportunities and build business cases
Work with the CSS Products, Reengineering Leads, EO&T and other internal teams to identify innovative solutions and build robust pipeline of Use cases
Responsible for implementation and governance of key transformation programs
Create automation book of work, including the development of the business case, pipeline prioritization, tracking and reporting on progress against all financial and non-financial metrics
Ensure the business case and financial ROI is defined and approved
Ability to translated strategic goals into delivery-focused change initiatives
Work with GFT partners to identify emerging technology and innovative solutions
Produce CSS-level status reports and financial tracking
Work closely with Enterprise Infrastructure & Technology to foster a strong partnership, provide updates and input
Work closely with tech partners and other Citi business groups to ensure alignment and share capabilities
Collaborate with partners across process areas, regions and levels to identify and solve cross-functional challenges
Advance the Agile Program Management capabilities across CSS
Strongly influence CSS leadership and other stakeholders to achieve goals
Work in collaboration with tech partners to oversee vendors, identify solutions and advance tool development and application
Facilitate, coordinate and arbitrate cross-functional issues with key stakeholders
Facilitate and manage CSS Digitalization & Innovation program meetings and working sessions
Coach, mentor and lead knowledge sharing session with the reengineering teams across CSS
Align and promote grassroots reengineering initiatives and programs, such as Bright Ideas, Innovation Café, and Citi Lean
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience; Master's degree a plus
10+ years’ experience in operational reengineering, and technology program and portfolio management
Ability to develop strategy and drive execution
Proven Reengineering experience to drive end to end process transformation
Very high level of thought leadership and ability to engage senior stakeholders and drive results
Senior level expertise leading transformation level programs to implement new technologies and portfolio of productivity programs in operations
Proven skills and capability in applying a structured approach to the successful portfolio management, tracking, planning, monitoring and reporting of concurrent, multiple projects spanning broad geographies and organizations
Understanding of innovation strategies and tools
Expertise with enterprise program management tools
Background in Agile program management
Exemplary written and oral communication skills which can be leveraged to manage conflict and nurture partnerships across all stakeholders and build alignment
High level of proficiency in creating and giving senior executive level presentations
Understanding of large organizations and dynamic decision making
Proven track record in leading senior project managers and global cross-functional teams serving as Portfolio manager, SME and team coach
Strong understanding of Citi Lean and proven ability to lean out processes
Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment and ambiguous situations
Must be extremely flexible and have a strong aptitude to manage competing priorities and ensure critical follow-up on initiatives
Understanding and ability to appropriately assess risk
Flexibility to adapt to dynamic environment, and to drive transformational projects
PMP certification and Citi Lean Apprentice certifications a plus
