Citigroup CoB & Controls Sr. Analyst, Asst Vice President-TAMPA in Tampa, Florida
The primary objective of this role is to create a testing program that will complement ongoing changes in the Business Continuity Planning environment. This will be achieved by creating and conducting Tabletop Exercises and Testing deliverables for Global Continuity & Crisis Management Group. This may include, but is not limited to, tabletop exercise for Business as well as Technology areas. They will need to evaluate moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
In addition, the role may have program deliverables for Third Parties, FFIEC Appendix J, Application Recovery Plans, Application Recovery Capability reviews and any additional applications resiliency matters as necessary. The role also includes assessment of Technology Resiliency aspects of emerging technologies (Cloud Computing, Virtualization, RPA, and Block Chain).
Create presentation decks with multiple scenarios to conduct Tabletop Exercises with Business and Technology partners
Need to have Business process understanding and/or be able to learn and dissect what is needed to prepare testing scenarios
Provide guidance to Application Development and Support teams on CoB Testing Strategy and Compliance, leveraging current and emerging CoB technologies, to ensure CoB readiness
Face off to senior management and technology control teams. Provide continuous test program monitoring, metrics, reporting and key program initiatives
Liaise with the testing utility and provide oversight & support for end to end applications testing for datacenter tests, technical rooms tests, volume tests and supplier tests
Provide Testing Evidence and support for Internal Audits and Regulatory reviews
Project Management of key initiatives as defined by the Citi Business Continuity Management
Provide oversight for Corrective Action Plans includes ensuring implementation of remediation
Be able to provide oversight for 3rd parties and understand impact on Citi from Business Continuity lens while incorporating into testing scenarios
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Track record as a strong analyst – recognized as able to deliver work in pressured environments.
Attention to detail and ability to discuss document and confirm process flows.
Collaborative approach, must be able to work closely with senior business sponsors and promote consensus decisions that are right for the organization.
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Provide support at the time of a disaster/event.
Bachelor's Degree and 5+ yrs of related work experience
3+ years Experience in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, risk and relationship management .
Strong business/product knowledge and through understanding of technologies supporting the business
Advanced project management, data analysis and reporting ability; with a good understanding of supporting technologies (applications, reporting tools, and data presentation)
Must have US work authorization. This job is not sponsoring Visas.
Strong technology background/ production support experience a plus
Understanding of recovery strategy development and insight into industry best practices
Practical experience in continuity plan structure, testing, and maintenance
Professional manner and strong interpersonal skills
Independent and self-starter and strong time management skills
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Excellent Presentation skills
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels in the organization
Advanced user proficiency in Microsoft Office products
