Senior Software Development Engineer - SharePoint Template & Vertical

The OneDrive SharePoint group in Suzhou is building the next wave of intelligent experiences for collaboration, content management and portals in today’s mobile-first and cloud-first world.

Responsibilities

We are seeking strong software engineers to build the best experience for a new SharePoint center of excellence in Suzhou, China. As a key technical member of the team, you will:

Help to define the technical direction of the team and drive the actual implementations with special emphasis on ensuring quality and performance through sound engineering processes.

Instill quality and excellence into the team culture by leading design and implementation efforts, actively mentoring the results, and make necessary adjustments.

Support recruiting efforts, ensure we are bringing top talents to the team.

Qualifications

BS/MS degree in computer science or related field

6+ years of experience building, deploying, and supporting large scale applications and services

Excellent problem solving, design, coding, and debugging skills

Strong JavaScript/TypeScript coding skills

Development experience in web technologies, e.g. React/Angular/Vue, NodeJS, Webpack

Strong cross-group collaboration skills
