As a Collections Specialist you will be responsible for working with our members performing a variety of activities regarding delinquent accounts. This position requires vast knowledge of collection and bankruptcy laws and practices, and knowledge of consumer and mortgage loan documents. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years in a fast pace collections environment with knowledge and understanding of consumer collections compliance and regulation as it relates to best practices and handling of collection matters on delinquent accounts. Candidate must also have professional, well-developed interpersonal skills essential for projecting positive image as a representative of the Credit Union. Must be able to attain your Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) number.
