Danaher Corporation Business Systems Analyst in Sunnyvale, California
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads the Business Requirements process for the specific focus area with a strong emphasis on working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to develop a plan to achieve the project commitment.
Analyze, designs and implement information system improvements by interaction with internal users and customers to learn and document requirements to produce business requirements documents
Assess the suitability of information systems and liaise with end users, software vendors and programmers to achieve desired outcomes.
Identify, understand, and plan for organizational and human impacts of planned systems, and ensure that new technical requirements are properly integrated with existing processes and skill sets
Write, update and/or assist with the development of current and new SOPs
Assist programmers during system development, e.g. provide As-Is and To-Be flowcharts, design documents and test scripts
Perform system testing and validation
Resolve end user’s system access and/or transactional issues and interface with additional internal/external resources as required
Conduct or assist with the deployment of system audits
Utilize Supply Chain Best-Practices knowledge to ensure Logistics Systems supports current and future operational growth
Key focal point for Global WMS Super Users related to the day to day activity for revenue achievement
Understands and when required will troubleshoot Material Handling Hardware functionality to WMS system

Education or Experience (in years):
Bachelor’s degree in field with 5+ years of related work experience OR
Master’s degree in field with 3+ years of related work experience OR
Doctoral degree in field with 0-2 years of related work experience.
Knowledge and skills:
Comprehensive understanding of ERP System with working knowledge in SAP WMS, TMS, Order Fulfillment and GTC.
Understands the good movement flows across the Supply Chain. Supplier to Factory, Factory to Distribution Center and DC to Customer
Working experiences across SAP WMS transactional applications that move goods within an insourced and outsourced warehouse environment
Working experiences across multiple Supply Chain functions – Demand Planning, Order Fulfillment, Sourcing/Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics and Reverse Logistics
Base level understanding of standard Logistics modes – Air, Ocean, Surface, Parcel, White-Glove …
Ability to drive process flow/supply chain mapping discussions within a work team
Demonstrated project management skills and ability to lead internal and external resources across multiple Supply Chain functions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as high ethical standards. Ability to create and present to multiple organizations within Cepheid
Capability to manage multiple priorities, organize complex requests, and resolve issues creatively
Experience using Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Word, and Excel
Experience with SOPs, GMP, ISO, JIT, MRP
Physical requirements/abilities:
- Ability to work in an office environment

International experiences with actual operational experience in region
International and Domestic travel
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS (optional):
Master’s degree in supply chain management
APICS certification, CPIM preferred.

Related experience in a diagnostic, medical device, or pharmaceutical environment
