The Supervisor will supervise employees performing shipping, receiving, electrical assembly, heavy assembly, light assembly, machining and/or fabrication activities. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will have at least five years total experience, three of which must be in a supervisory capacity. Duties and Responsibilities *Schedule all parts, components and subassemblies for production. *Interpret specifications or get clarification from engineering when necessary. *Implement and enforce safety policies, safety procedures, standards and rules of the Company. 4. Manage human resource activities within the area of accountability, to include staffing, performance management, salary administration, and other related activities. *Effectively perform material handling activities such as crating, packing, shipping, receiving, picking, lifting, moving and using materials handling equipment when necessary. (such as: lift trucks, tow motors, cranes, high lifts, etc.) *Utilize small and large tools, hoists, dollies and other devices when necessary. *Comply with all safety procedures in each area assigned, including but not limited to, wearing protective clothing, special handling of chemicals, special handling of product, safety/rescue equipment usage, etc. *Run business errands. *Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company, as well as suppliers, customers and peers effectively. *Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Company. *Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards. *Maintain work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner. *Punctual, regular and consistent attendance. *Perform all other job-related duties as assigned. Required Experience and Education *High school diploma or equivalent. Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English. • Five to seven years total experience, three of which must be in a supervisory capacity. • Ability to handle complex projects and tasks independently within established standards. • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities at a time, self-motivated and pro-active. • Must be organized, a team player and committed to quality systems. • Ability to plan and schedule the work of others. • Ability to coach and motivate employees, interpret and communicate company goals, policies and procedures to employees. • Complete working knowledge and use of departmental and Company policies, procedures, standards and rules; ability to interpret policies and practices in unusual situations. • Must be computer literate. • Successful passing of a routine motor vehicle report. Physical and Technical Environment *Must regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, using proper lifting techniques or other available resources such as lifting or moving equipment or help from another employee. • Regularly required to walk or stand, bend or twist, climb, reach with hands or arms. • Ability to routinely travel throughout multi-floor office and shop area, walking, climbing stairs, utilizing elevator. • Use various manua
