The Content Marketing Lead oversees marketing content initiatives, across multiple platforms and formats, to drive retention, leads and revenue for Heatcraft Refrigeration Products. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Marketing Communications and Customer Training.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
You will lead the strategic development, management and implementation of content.
You will collaborate across the organization to identify opportunities to create content targeting key customer audiences within key market segments and pull together the data, commentary and insights to tell our stories.
You will deliver compelling content that furthers Heatcraft Refrigeration Products brands’ goals including awareness, interest and loyalty.
You’ll combine creativity with strategic thinking to build a consistent brand voice across marketing materials, the website and lead generating assets to drive measurable engagement.
You’ll use your mastery of language to develop content that spans both technical and business audiences and clearly communicates our business value.
Your content will drive buyer awareness and engagement at the top of the funnel and influence consideration and generate overall company/product awareness consistent with Heatcraft Refrigeration Products’ marketing objectives.
In this role, you will collaborate with Product Development, Sales, Engineering, Graphic Designers and Creative Agencies to create content for key products and programs in conjunction with annual strategic campaigns.
Your content and stories should attract, inspire, and ultimately retain customers. For this, you need to have solid writing skills and a strong ability to understand our target audience and translate their needs into creative collateral.
Develop content marketing strategies and set short-term goals.
Concept, write and edit compelling content and copy for a variety of platforms including website, promotional material, articles, speaking decks, email copy, blogs, customer case studies, etc. that supports Heatcraft Refrigeration Products customer value proposition and competitive advantages.
Develop and manage the content calendar that provides appropriate coverage to product areas and topical focus areas.
Manage workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing and retiring content.
Collaborate with writers, graphic designers and agencies for content development.
In partnership with the Digital Marketing Lead, conduct ongoing testing to gauge online content effectiveness and make recommendations based on those results.
Optimize content considering SEO and Google Analytics.
Track and report on content performance metrics.
Receive customer feedback and generate content ideas to increase customer engagement.
Location: Atlanta preferred, but open to remote
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a content development and management role.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Advertising, PR, Journalism, English or Marketing.
Strong experience leading both strategic development and tactical execution of content-related projects.
Meticulous project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Experience with creating compelling messages for both technical and non-technical audiences about technology benefits.
Proven experience collaborating with internal and external teams to execute projects.
A self-starter with an ability to own projects and work independently.
Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences.
Understanding of web publishing/digital platform content requirements.
Industrial B2B experience (HVAC-R industry nice to have)
Excellent copywriting skills preferred.
Experience maintaining content management systems and corporate intranets preferred
