JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 16968 JOB TITLE: Licensed Practical Nurse - Student Health Services | UW-Stevens Point Main Campus JOB DUTIES: In this position, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will coordinate patient care as well as perform specific nursing duties on a rotational basis. Essential aspects of this position are to provide exceptional care to patients and to maintain patient confidentiality. General responsibilities of this position include telephone triage and triaging in-person, recording of patients' medical history, rooming of patients, administering allergy injections and immunizations, CLIA waived laboratory testing, and scheduling of patient appointments utilizing the scheduling software, Point and Click. This position also provides clinical assistance with physical examinations as needed and minor surgical procedures (i.e., mole removal, suturing, incision and drainage procedures, cyst removal, follow up care for burn patients).
