KBR Logistics Provisioner in Sterling Heights, Michigan
KBR is seeking an experienced Logistics Provisioner to join our Sterling Heights, Michigan Team!
Analyzes and implements logistics plans that may affect the production, distribution, and inventory or finished products in order to enhance product flow.
Analyzes, participates in development, and implements logistics plans affecting the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products.
Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.
Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports. Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers.
Provides activity and status reports to management. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years related experience. In lieu of formal education, 10 years of experience in the Provisioning field, preferably U.S. Army.
Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a Security Clearance prior to start of work.
Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Must have knowledge and understanding of U.S. Army Logistics Provisioning functions using U.S. Army practices and guidelines (AR 700-18).
Understand Source, Maintenance and Recoverability coding (SM&R codes) to communicate maintenance and supply instructions.
Understand Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists of equipment and systems.
Must be proficient with PowerLog J 2.0 inputs and reporting methods.
Be proficient in reading Technical Drawings of vehicles and equipment and understand drawing structure and relevant markings.
Be proficient in the building of Bill of Materials (BOM) from drawing structure.
Must have experience with the provisioning of U.S. Army equipment and have an understanding of reports due. (LSA 036)
