KBR Logistics Provisioner in Sterling Heights, Michigan
KBR is seeking a Logistics Provisioner to join our Team. The role will support our United States Army customer in our Sterling Heights, Michigan location. Analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities using established procedures.
Analyzes standard contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.
Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.
Analyzes, participates in development, and implements logistics plans affecting the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products.
Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports.
Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers.
Provides activity and status reports to management.
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years related experience. In lieu of formal education, 10 years of experience in the Logistics/Provisioning field, preferably U.S. Army. BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field and 2 years of experience. 4 years of specialized military experience in the relative field can be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
Must have knowledge and understanding of U.S. Army Logistics Provisioning functions using U.S. Army practices and guidelines.
Experience with the logistics and provisioning of U.S. Army equipment and understand Logistics Product Data GEIA-STD-0007-B is required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Security Clearance prior to star of work.
Be proficient with PowerLOGJ2 Software.
Understands and able to read technical drawings of vehicles and equipment.
Knowledge of working with and developing Maintenance Plans, Provisioning Parts Lists, Maintenance Task Analysis, Life Cycle Management, Maintenance Allocation Charts, Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists, and ETM/IETM development.
