KPMG is currently seeking an Intern for Learning and Development.
Support the Learning and Development (L&D) function within the Human Resources team, applying adult learning principles while utilizing instructional design methods/tools and learning platforms
Complete assignments/special projects supporting the conception, design and development of learning assets for the Business Process Group (BPG) portfolios as assigned by L&D center of excellence department leader
Collaborate with BPG subject matter professionals on course design and development to translate business content into learner-centered experiences that reflect and understanding of the diverse group of learners
Apply fundamental research skills and performance consulting skills to gain insight on learning asset requirements (target audience analysis, content scope, case study development) for assigned instructional design projects
Review learning experience against defined training objectives, company brand standards and CPE requirements
Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and entering the final year of pursuing the following degrees/majors; a bachelors degree in Instructional Design/Technology, Adult Education, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology/Leadership, Talent Management or equivalent program
Must have a current/most recent cumulative GPA over 3.0
Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, project management, time management, critical thinking, decision-making, leadership and analytical skills
Technical aptitude and ability to navigate MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Experience with multimedia and/or rapid development authoring tools (e.g. Camtasia, Storyline, Captivate) a plus
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
