Position Overview:
This role will utilize specialized knowledge and skills to plan and execute assignments including but not limited to compensation and financial analyses for use in the development of strategic and day-to-day compensation related business decisions, job evaluations, job descriptions, research, design, communication, implementation and administration of compensation programs, policies and procedures. This position will also assist with the evaluation, analysis, and administration of compensation programs that align with SitusAMC-s compensation strategies and enhance market competitiveness to improve their impact on the business. In addition, this position will be responsible for administration of variable compensation and equity programs.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist in developing, organizing and modifying job descriptions and determines appropriate salary range
Conducts job analysis to determine appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines along with determining FLSA status
Manages online compensation system and salary surveys
Participates in the creation of a compensation strategy, system, policies and procedures
Participates in the creation and maintenance of job families, benchmarking and compensation structure
Analyzes company compensation programs in relation to government wage and hour regulations, geographic regions, comparable industries to recommend, establish and maintain competitive rates
Recommend compensation programs or incentives for employees or specific groups to support the organizations objectives
Administers annual merit process and performs annual market analysis and salary range review and makes recommendations as appropriate. Ensures compliance with salary administration guidelines
Guides management and talent acquisition on compensation policies including internal and external salary offers, promotions, demotions and equity adjustments.
Participates in salary surveys on behalf of the organization
Manages compensation module and job tables within HRIS to ensure data accuracy
Assists with the implementation of the compensation system within a new HRIS system
Qualifications/ Requirements:
Education: Bachelor-s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
Minimum of five years of experience in compensation to include implementation and administration of compensation structure, policies and guidelines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively present information to, and communicate with, co-workers, employees and management
Able to establish and maintain cooperative and positive working relationships
Able to analyze data and statistics and compile accurate reports
Results oriented, self-disciplined, detail oriented, self-motivated and the ability to work independently and remotely
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Flexibility to operate in a fast paced environment with stringent deadlines, with the ability to make timely decisions, prioritizes effectively, monitors results and takes remedial action where necessary
Must be computer proficient and possess experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
Preferred experience with Workday, Paylocity, Payscale
Special Requirements:
- The employee may be required to report to a different local office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of their employment
