What You Will Do: This professional will be responsible for Ecolab's MyBuy tool, a S2P SaaS solution that includes Sourcing, Purchasing, Contracts and Supplier Management modules. The responsibilities of this role include leading activities for North America commercial procurement, as well as providing oversight and governance globally by working closely with global colleagues in the multiple regions to assure alignment to a global business systems strategy. This is an excellent role for someone looking for experience working globally, leading projects, managing direct reports, and working on business/IT systems. Knowledge or experience in procurement is preferred but not required. Strategy Lead the business systems analysis of procurement related process and information needs and identify potential solutions that support best-in-class global processes. Translate objectives and requirements into process or system deliverables Leverage technical and management skills to achieve results through others and manages projects/portfolio to meet business needs. Proactively engages with external functions, other companies, agencies or trade associations regarding systems, and best in class procurement systems management. Project Leadership Leads projects and all related business systems interactions and systems activities within the scope of the position. Partner with internal stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure they meet commercial and internal standards. Identify and resolve metric definitions across multiple stakeholders and multiple processes. Drive technical enhancements in existing systems by leading the user acceptance testing (UAT) process with technical team counterparts. Team Leadership Provides direct supervision, objectives, coaching and development to Business Systems Analyst direct reports. Business Systems Leadership Act as expert level leader on systems within procurement. Ownership for interactions between procurement related systems and other functional/business systems and Ecolab IT. Act as procurement expert on cross-functional systems projects. Recognized expert within the organization. Ability to communicate and present on area of specialty at multiple levels. Identifies and sponsors systems improvements or simplification. Oversees the development of procedures and controls to ensure reliable operation of systems. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology Systems, Management, Engineering, Business, Finance or related field 7 years' related work experience Previous experience in a systems management or leadership role. This can be in information technology, procurement, marketing, research & development, finance or supply chain. Previous project Management experience, and/or experience in formal project management methodology Previous experience with IT systems and/or enterprise applications Previous experience leading and/or implementing solutions for a large company (e.g. Fortune 500) Immigration Sponsorship is not offered for this role Preferred Qualifications: 5 years' experience in a systems management or leadership role.
