MN STATE HOUSING FINANCE AGENCY Assistant Commissioner, Single Family in St. Paul, Minnesota

The Assistant Commissioner of the Single Family division is responsible for the overall planning, management and oversight of Single Family business production, operations and portfolio management for the organization. They work closely with our Agency finance and legal teams to manage risk and strategy related to this portfolio. The Assistant Commissioner represents our Single Family businesses with both internal and external customers involved in policy formation, implementation and operational issues. Essential Job Duties Manage comprehensive strategic and Divisional planning and implementation to assure business alignment with organization mission, vision and priorities. Develop partnerships, strategies and goals to close the homeownership disparity gap in Minnesota. Direct and oversee overall Single Family business, including but not limited to production, operations, portfolio management, risk management and quality control in cooperation with direct reports. Collaborate with finance and legal teams to manage risk and strategy related to this portfolio. Conduct high level discussions and negotiations pertaining to major Single Family and/or assigned Agency initiatives of critical importance to the Agency with internal and external customers. Manage assigned human and financial resources to assure they are effectively applied. Champion efforts in employee development and engagement, cultural competency and recruitment and retention of a diverse workforce. Assure that Single Family division staff is managed in accordance with state policy and procedures in alignment with established Agency values.
