The position functions as a key operator and trainer for instrumentation in assigned discipline. The MT functions as charge person as assigned. Bachelor degree in Medical Technology or field related to area or specialty. Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: American Society of Clinical Pathology or National Certification Agency, HEW or military certification is required. New hires must attain certification within 12 months of hire. Failure to attain certification will result in demotion or loss of position. Additional Information Candidate will support evening schedule from 3-11:30pm Monday-Friday, 2-10:30pm approximatelyevery 4th weekend and occassional holidays. Candidate will perform testing in Blood Bank, Urinalysis, Micro Setups, Chemistryand Hematology. Candidate will also support specimen processing with receiving specimens, calling critical results and phlebotomy as directed. The Organization At Park Nicollet you're part of something bigger.
