This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel. Education/Experience: BSN/BAN from a school of nursing required. Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: 1. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. 2. Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License. 3. BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. Additional Information Ability to work in fast-paced endoscopy department assisting with GI/Pulmonary procedures and recovery of patients. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and prioritize effectively is essential for success. Experience in the following areas are required: Endoscopy procedural experience, ACLS certification, IV insertion skills, and administration of moderate sedation.
