PSG Global Solutions Research Associate I in South San Francisco, California

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Research Associate I , working in the Biotechnology/Medical Devices industry in South San Francisco, California .

  • Develops and routinely employs bioanalytical methods for the quantitative and qualitative analysis of new chemical entities, their metabolites, and endogenous PD markers in plasma, tissues, and other biological matrices.

  • Interprets and provides bioanalytical results to project teams in support of drug discovery and development.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or equivalent

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience

  • Experience with metabolomics workflows is preferred, but not required

  • Proven ability to independently design and execute experiments by LC-MS/MS in support of drug discovery and early development programs in a fast-paced environment

  • Good understanding of preclinical ADME and bioanalytical techniques

  • Experience in sample preparation, tissue homogenization, sample extraction techniques (e.g. LLE, SPE, and PP), data acquisition on triple-quadrupole platforms and high-resolution mass spectrometers

  • Experience with data processing using Analyst/Multiquant, XCMS+, and GraphPad Prism
