Tyson Foods Maintenance Lead in South Fulton, Tennessee
Demonstrate ability to work well with team members at all levels. Must also set an example for others in all policy areas from hygiene to safety. Must safely participate in maintenance testing/hands-on in all these areas: Maintenance Fundamentals/Troubleshooting, Inspection, Welding, Print Reading/Schematics, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Machine Shop Tool Practices/Technology, Electrical Systems, Electronics, PLCs/Logic/VFDs, Robotics, Plumbing/Pipefitting, Power Transmissions, and Mechanical Skills. Responsible for safely performing repairs and preventative maintenance of all plant equipment. Capable of directing Maintenance team members in the absence of supervisor. Delegates and assigns tasks/projects to Maintenance crew as directed by supervisor. Must be organized and detailed-oriented. Must be able to perform essential job functions to standard within 20 days, Occasional lifting may be required, good math skills (high school level), Must always observe & comply with hygiene and safety procedures . Must be able to work in a cold and wet environment, work flexible hours and some weekends. Must be able to read, write, and use a computer competently. Must keep less than 7 points. Prior Lead experience is a plus. Must become a member of the Hazmat Team. Must be at M Level 5 or test up to M Level 5 within a year of accepting this job. Must stay compliant with all Safety, GMP, and Environmental training. We strongly encourage TM to be at M Level 8 within 2 Years. Must be able to help and teach New Hires within their department.
