Univest Corporation of Pennsylvania Human Resources Generalist/Recuiter in Souderton, Pennsylvania

We're looking for detail oriented Human Resource Generalist to support the continued growth of our organization!

Lead full-cycle recruiting process for assigned job openings from requisition through job offer and onboarding with a focus on providing a high-level of service to both internal and external customers.

Develop collaborative relationships with hiring managers to understand position requirements, set expectations and maintain communications throughout the hiring process.

Assist in executing a talent acquisition strategy aligned with Univest’s business objectives and culture to meet hiring goals.

Participate in establishing innovative candidate sourcing strategies and stay up-to-date on latest recruiting trends.

Attend both internal and external job fairs as needed.

Responsible for managing the processes for employee promotions, transfers, and other system changes.

Identify opportunities for process improvements that will increase department efficiency and communicate to direct Supervisor for consideration.

Stay current on all federal, state, and local employment laws and update department forms and notifications as required.

Review all required employment postings both Federal and State on an annual basis updating audit checklists and distributing current notices as required by law.

Conduct various annual audits to ensure compliance with Federal and State requirements, including bulletin board, new hire and I-9.

Coordinate and execute special events such as Service Awards, Administrative Professional’s Day, Veteran’s Day, as well as employee events.

Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on various metrics used to evaluate HR trends and create additional reports for management as requested, such as recruiting and retention, etc.

Serve as SharePoint Administrator for HR landing page on the intranet.

Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct.

Assume responsibilities of HR Generalist II and HR Assistant, as needed.

Perform additional duties as required.

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field and 2-3 years HR experience required

Knowledge of relevant employment laws and basic understanding of employee benefits

Strong administrative skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media/professional networking sites. Applicant Tracking System experience preferred

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize assignments

High degree of accuracy coupled with maximum productivity

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills including a pleasant telephone manner, ability to work to consensus and manage conflict, and ability to work cooperatively with individuals at all levels

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Able to think independently, handle workplace stress and interact with coworkers as a member of the team.

Able to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion

Positive attitude with a sense of humor
