CBS is a global organization that envisages the accelerated use of shared services. Its purpose is to bring a smarter, more efficient approach to how we provide shared services to Cargill. That way business units and functions can focus on what they do best. These services are delivered in 6 Centers based in Bangalore (India), Sofia (Bulgaria), Nanjing (China), San Jose (Costa Rica), Uberlandia (Brazil) and Rosario (Argentina).

The Cargill Business Service Center in Sofia is providing support services to the EMEA regional Credits and Incentives (C&I) team. The EMEA C&I team secures tax and financial incentives offered by governments to encourage economic development and investments in innovation, sustainability and employment. For example, C&I includes country-based research and development tax credits and European Union, national and local cash grants for innovation and sustainability. The EMEA C&I team coordinates across Cargill businesses and functions to identify potential eligible business activity, apply for and secure C&I benefits, and comply with reporting and regulatory requirements.

As an EMEA C&I Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the EMEA C&I team and supporting CBS delivery on C&I opportunities. Your day-to-day major tasks will include coordinating with the EMEA C&I team, supporting their activities, ensuring timely compliance, performing data analysis, reporting on performance and KPIs, and assisting with administrative tasks as needed.

Principal Accountabilities

  • You will draft research, analysis, computations, workpapers and filings related to C&I Initiatives

  • You will monitor and highlight interdependencies between C&I opportunities to minimize any adverse impacts;

  • You will collect and organize data and documents needed to secure and comply with C&I

  • You will work actively with data: Collection of data, cleansing, formatting and initial validation for accuracy

  • You will work closely with the EMEA C&I team, businesses, functions, and external consultants

  • You will Draft performance reports based on defined level KPIs and metrics

  • Assist in identifying data sources and designing C&I processes, service catalogs, standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • You will build robust, credible business relationships with key partners and stakeholders

  • You will work closely with Accounting, Tax and other teams within the region


Required Qualifications

Data Management and Analysis

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or economics

  • General knowledge of ERP (SAP and JDE specifically) systems

  • 3 years of prior experience with management reporting, shared services and / or supporting Tax for FP&A function

  • Experience in gathering data from different sources, synthesizing insights, and performance and KPI reporting

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with and influence cross functional teams from different countries and cultures

  • Prior experience with knowledge management and / or FP&A function is desirable

  • Ability to manage ambiguity

  • Fluency in English

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to structure problems logically and arrive at solutions; and attention to detail

  • Experience with reading and understanding technical documentation, regulatory requirements, and contracts

  • Ability to communicate in one other European language
