Twitter Senior Publisher Business Development Manager, Platform Sales, Greater China in Singapore, Singapore
MoPub, a Twitter company is looking for an experienced business development executive to accelerate the MoPub platform adoption amongst the largest Enterprise tier mobile publishers and application developers. As Senior Business Development Manager, you will be tasked to identify top mobile app publishers in the Greater China region; build and cultivate strong relationships with them, and ultimately secure platform partnership with MoPub.
This is a highly strategic & visible role within the company, as you will be working with some of the largest media and gaming companies and mobile app publishers of the world to develop long term partnerships. You will work with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to propose the best solutions for clients to ensure continued customer growth and acquisition.
This role requires a deep understanding of publisher needs, significant experience with the mobile advertising industry landscape, and a proven track record in B2B consultative sales with C-level executives.
What you'll do:
Grow MoPub’s publisher partnership base with the top tier Enterprise grade mobile app publishers in the Greater China region
Lead the development of complex partnership models that include strategic, financial and industry moving options.
Proactively build and maintain a strong pipeline of publisher prospects while assisting in the planning and forecasting of quarterly sales targets
Achieve and exceed aggressive quarterly sales targets
Identify areas of opportunity to pitch MoPub’s value to new mobile app developers and publishers, by leveraging the strengths of the entire suite of Twitter + MoPub products.
Collect customer feedback to help advance our product roadmap and support the development of MoPub’s value proposition in the market.
Work cross-functionally with a variety of internal teams, including Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Legal and Client Services teams
Represent MoPub at industry conferences and networking events including participation in industry speaking engagements
10-12 years of sales or business development with at least 5 years in a mobile-centric business with experience working with publishers
Good knowledge & familiarity with mobile publisher business models, mobile gaming ecosystem, ad serving, ad exchanges, RTB, Programmatic, PMP and online ad technologies focused on driving publisher value
Experience in value-selling advertising technology to publishers
Unrelenting drive to find, engage and establish partnerships with premier mobile application developers and publishers
o Travel between 20%-50% expected (post covid)
Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Able and comfortable with communicating complex ideas in simple and clear terms to business partners across different domains.
Preferably comes with an established network of top tier game developer publisher relationships in the Greater China region
Track record of being a great collaborator/team player who has successfully influenced and created internal buy-in to drive projects
Comfortable working without 100% information
Strong understanding of the mobile gaming ecosystem and experience working with developers and/or gaming studios
Exceptional communication and presentation skills to all levels of management
Knowledge of Mandarin language is essential as the scope of the given role will overview the Greater China region.
