Oracle University is seeking to hire dynamic an Education Sales Representative to drive engagement with key SaaS customers and position the value of Oracle’s Learning solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES : This individual contributor role will

  • Engage with key customers; assess customer adoption stage and their employee learning needs, map to available learning solutions, and thus create learning proposals which results in faster and effective software adoption by customer, and better ROI on software investment.

  • Own and drive specific account plans for customers. In the assigned territory.

  • Sales Lead generation, presenting the value proposition, negotiation and closing.

  • Build and manage business pipeline towards achievement of individual sales targets


  • Experience in selling software solutions or IT consulting solutions or large IT training deals.

  • Understanding of SaaS including Oracle’s SaaS product suite.

  • Experience in handling major accounts in Singapore mandatory.

  • Track record of achieving sales targets including proven experience to build and manage pipeline, ability to accelerate the sales process towards in-time deal closure.

  • Previous experience in handling or collaborating in configuring / closing large training deals for enterprise customers will be a plus


The primary focus of an Education Sales Representative is to sell learning solutions to existing Oracle customers and to prospect for new customers in the assigned territory or vertical.

You will sell to an assigned set of accounts to achieve assigned targets. Design and develop account penetration strategies, and closes business. Responsible for understanding Oracle’s product offerings and competitive offerings. Liaise with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities, and selling Oracle learning solutions.



Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Sells Oracle's training services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory. Deals are not usually complex.

Sell Oracle education and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the Education sales offering. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of an Education value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key sales influencers.

Job duties are varied and need independent judgment. At least 5 years field sales experience with focus on larger accounts including Education or related sales experience. Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travel may be needed. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor degree or equivalent.
