We are looking forward to Bid Management Team Application Engineer in Eaton based in Singapore.
This person is responsible to collate all technical information, technical submittals and be the single point of contact for any Vendor’s technical questions during the bidding and tender process.
They will work closely with the Bid Management Team Facilitator, Data Center Solution Architect, Key Account Manager’s and Service teams to provide a comprehensive and standardised response to any data center related RFP/RFT in the EA region. Addtionally, thye will need to form working relationships with third-party suppliers such as General Contractors (GC’s), Builders/Construction Managers and cabling organisations where required.
Your essential responsibilities:
Works closely with internal engineering and sales teams to formulate a comprehensive RFP/RFT response.
Collates all technical information into a single response document as per the customers or consultants’ requirements.
Carries out and follows up on any technical and engineering tasks, such as clarifications and product specifications.
Works with Eaton’s local Data Center Solution Architect, regional and global product management teams to align on product offerings
Works closely with Eaton technical and engineering resources to respond to any technical documentation, questions, clarifications or follow up.
Prepares technical submittal of the RFP/RFT, and engages third-party suppliers for technical and pricing information.

Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS
Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements
Ensuring the QMS meets its goals
Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS
Create a culture of continuous improvement
If you are:
Tertiary Degree in a technical, electrical or mechanical field
7 years of equivalent experience in an engineering role.
Experience working on design of hyperscale and/or Colo data centers
Familiarity with Skid based and Modular data center design.
Experience in RFP/RFT process and submittals
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
Understanding of technical pricing models
