ASRC Federal Holding Company Business Systems Analyst in Silver Spring, Maryland

Summary:

This position will part of the web-based application support team for NOAA's National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) office.

Clearance : Must be a US Citizen to meet contract requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to populate and utilize web based productivity tools. Individual will sit onsite with the customer and attend meetings to assist with utilization and future modification of the web based tools.

  • Create user accounts, and troubleshooting user access or user questions.

  • Upload files to a central online repository. Responsible for data entry, organizing information, and reviewing data to check for missing information or data discrepancies. Reach out to stakeholders to request information, and may be responsible for making correlations within the data.

  • Responsible for compiling metrics into reports, writing procedural documents, editing documents, developing FAQs, and compiling presentations.

  • May be asked to present demos of software applications.

  • Some local travel to Seabrook, MD will be required to attend or coordinate meetings, pick up files, or meet with customers. Most of the support will be to NOAA customers, but there is also the possibility to support NASA customers as well.

  • Additional projects will involve compiling information, research, or assisting in special projects.
