Serco Historian Administrator in Shaw AFB, South Carolina

Serco supports the US Air Force as a prime for their USAFCENT contract which supports their defense work at Shaw AFB. Our team maintains, organizes, and preserves historical files and repositories for USAFCENT and its assigned and attached subordinate units in perpetuity to allow them to perform their missions successfully.
You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams which have been recognized by the U.S. Air Forces Central Command and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program.
In this Historian Organizational Administrator role, you will:
Maintain, organize, and preserve historical files and repositories for USAFCENT and its assigned and attached subordinate units in perpetuity.
Store materials in appropriate container or electronic-based media based on classification.
Review repository materials for downgrade/declassification. Destroy or mail to appropriate agency materials no longer needed.
Prepare, plan, organize, and conduct all facets of in-residence and distance pre-deployment training courses using instructional system design. Training is IAW AFI 84-102, which requires C-NAF historian to “provide theater-specific training as appropriate.”
Provide assistance in contingency readiness and operations which include writing appropriate annexes and appendices to various plans.
Produce semiannual Historical Activity Report which documents accomplishments and contributions of USAFCENT History Office.
Build classified and unclassified SharePoint sites supporting deployed historians and USAFCENT units. Maintain historical and administrative content and applications.
Produce new or update USAFCENT History Office Instructions, publications, other guidance.
To be successful in thisHistorian Organizational Administratorrole, you will have:
Completed Associate Degree.
Five (5) years’ experience in information management (can be combined with military/contractor) with USAFCENT experience.
Two (2) years’ experience in Microsoft Office and SharePoint site development and administration.
One (1) year experience in SharePoint technology and archive management.
