We are seeking aSupport Technician for ourSample Management Department located inSenneville.
The following are responsibilities related to the position:
Perform reception, verification and storage of samples using the Watson LIMS®system.
Ensure the integrity of the studies and fulfill the regulatory agencies requirements by performing the activities according to the GLP, SOP and health and safety.
Ensures that the work areas are clean and orderly.
Perform the activities in a timely fashion by adhering to preset schedules.
Supervise some technical functions performed by less experienced employees.
Identify problems or potential problems and assist the appropriate personnel in establishing and implementing the appropriate solutions.
Participates in the training of the technical staff as required according to the complexity of the tasks
Show flexibility in regard to the nature of the work to respond to the needs of his/her group and all other groups within the division.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
The technician is regularly required to talk, hear and work/type at a computer.
Being able to perform repetitive motions such as handling frozen samples several times during the day.
Move around in the freezer room, the offices area, the shipping area and the walk-in freezer.

Experience :Relevant experience an asset
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered an acceptable substitute for education and specific experience as listed above.
